The Sanctuary of Truth is an architecture marvel composed entirely of wood without any metal nails. Constructed to preserve the building techniques of the past, the building exemplifies hand-hewn woodworking skills in Thailand. Built based on the religious philosophy of impermanence, the complex features four wings dedicated to Thai, Khmer, Chinese and Indian religious iconography respectively. Check out the intricate wooden carvings as you walk around the building.

Although the sanctuary is a distance from the main area, it is still fairly easy to get there. We took a motorbike ride over there. Other than exploring the Sanctuary itself, we also managed to do a boat ride (while enjoying fresh coconut juice!) and caught a cultural performance, which was already worth the ticket price. Will recommend to visit.

What an amazing day we had there are so many carvings such detail everywhere you look it is a sight to behold words can't do it justice plus they have elephants, horse and cart rides quad bikes, biat rides and other entertainment, there is a small gift shop and an area to buy food and drink you also have the choice to look around on your own or have a guide, I recommend the guide though as they give you a lot of information about the place things you wouldn't pick up unless you were told, hope you enjoy as much as I did .

From the moment you get there you will receive a hard hat as there are Master Carvers working diligently to complete the project they have been working on this place for many years and there are so many things to see you can look at the same area twice and see many things you might have missed just goes to show you there are still Craftsman in the world who have unparalleled talents all carved by hand

The Sanctuary of Truth is well worth a visit. It is an entirely carved wood structure set in a beautiful location. The details in the carvings is like looking on thousands of works of art at one time.

A continuing building still under construction, hand carving going on still to this day, but don't let that put you off its a wonder to behold set right by the sea, there are a lot of other activities going on there also, so go and expierience the lovely building for what it is. magnificent.

Advise to drop by 4.30pm as they close at 6pm. A 45mins touring around its definitely enough. Unless you plan to watch the show, please check at the timing. Its a place also great for an family outing. They offer elephant and horse riding too.

This is a most amazing wooden building made up of different styles from around the area. Both inside and out you will be looking at a building covered in carving done by hand, you can witness the carving being carried out at the Sanctuary Of Truth, as they need to continualy replace pieces as they age.
