We went to see the Sanctuary of Truth. It looks like there are other things there - we saw elephant rides, but just concentrated on the Sanctuary which was amazing. Very beautiful carvings and interesting watching the workers still carving.
Well worth a visit here from the cruise terminal, only takes about 30 minutes. There are a lot of steps down from the taxi parking but a minibus will take you down if you need it. Very impressive.
A very spiritual and calming place. The whole castle is hand carved and under renovation right now. Don’t let the ongoing maintenance work deter you from visiting the castle, in fact, it provides an opportunity to witness how the entire structure is decorated and built. Many men and women are busy all day carving ‘jigsaw bits’ that are to be fitted in specific spots. Marvelous architecture made only of wood and without nails or metal clamps. Entrance is 500 Baht/person. It’s a must visit place when visiting Pattaya.
This temple is like no other theme I have ever seen. Slightly touristy and unfortunately there is a zoo and elephant riding but if you can look past that I would highly recommend a visit to the temple.
A castle hand carved and marvelous architecture with out using nails.A unbelievable castle built and you can not see all of the intricate work if you went a hundred times because it is a masterpiece in progress.It is a one and only .Be prepared to be Amazed
It feels so heaven when i was there together with my friends. First time to visit the place and it was so great. Soon i will come back but this time with my loved one
This is a wooden structure - it is the brainchild of one, or more, Buddhist Monks ! It is unique, mind expanding and beautiful simultaneously. It is unique ib=n our modern world because it is all woon - created all by hand - no power tools or electricity were used - and there are no nails or screws, only wood pegs.
