This activity will have a maximum of 12 travelers.
This is thoroughly worth a visit! Note the dress code - legs and shoulders must be covered. They were fairly lenient about men in shorts, but were strict with women who didn't have their shoulders covered. They control entry to the temple, only allowing people down in a group every half an hour, but once you are down you are fine to wander around as you wish. I recommend 1-2 hours.
Enjoyed our trip here. Our tour guide Pamela was informative, knowledgable and friendly and a great sense of humour too. Only thing is to be careful about the sarongs , they will try to sell you them for 200 baht in the ticket office if you're not dressed correctly , but there is a stand nearer to the temple where they can be rented for free. Construction is going on in the temple but this doesnt impact the tour except wearing a helmet for safety.
Been here to Pattaya over the last twenty years and I finally went. Cool place, will absolutely love it. Amazing architecture.
This temple is a must to see if you visit Pattaya! They still build it and going to finish till 2025. All temple made from wood with huge attention to details and you can learn the whole pantheon of Buddhist goddesses and Bodhisattvas just if you look at the walls and roof. The garden that surrounds the temple and pond where you can take a boat or feed fish are both worth to your grateful attention.
Really nice place.. entry is about 500B but it is beautiful. Wooden temple is amazing 👌🏼highly recommend. Enjoy
This is a tourist trap. It isn’t a temple, it’s a privately owned vanity project by a local tycoon. The temple is a monument to capitalism, materialism, and animal cruelty. The tour guide droned on and on about the virtues of a simple life and that the true meaning of life is kindness and in stark contrast is the comical display of animal cruelty and capitalism. For example, you can ride an elephant around the temple. Or speed boat around the temple. Or ride a starving horse around the temple. Everything in an up sell and a scam. I felt dirty just being there.
Great Thai dancers, beautiful scenery, and a temple entirely of wood being restored. This was a great w as long site, and the tour guides inside are wonderful at sharing some interesting facts throughout.
