This activity will have a maximum of 12 travelers.
This is quite a special structure. The wood carvings that adorn the building are hand carved and every joint is secured by dowels and pegs; not a nail in the place. The artisans are working constantly and you can see the patience and skill required to create each decoration. The building has been worked on constantly for 39 years and while it looks old it is only 39 years old. Worth a trip.
A must see, very good for the children or a date. Guarantee you’ll get a bunch of great shots, especially in the interior with the light shining through
The place was something that I never expected but the inside of the Sanctuary was very hot, the administration must find a way to have some air flow inside. Some landscaping must be done and maybe the price of Thb 500.00 could be slightly steep for the locals and tourist groups. I loved the trip with my family, its all starting from Hinduism, as safety is most important if no nails were used for the construction, I hope continued safety checks are done.
Just wow, Its a must for everybody who visit Pattaya. Its not far away from the from the Main road too.
The Sanctuary of Truth has to be the most amazing place that I have ever visited. The fact that it is all hand carved and uses no nails or screws is mind blowing. It is definitely a site to see.
The Sanctuary of Truth Museum is a gigantic all wood construction located at the relaxing Rachvate cape of Naklua Pattaya City, Chon Buri, Thailand. They pay homage to and are a reflection of the Ancient Vision of Earth, Ancient Knowledge and Eastern Philosophy and they adorn every single surface – both inside and out – of the building. The admission fee is 500 baht for adults and 250 baht for children (under 12 years old). There are also small zoo and the restaurant inside the place.
