Itinerary

 Day 1: Arrival in Katra

  • Morning:
    • Arrive in Katra and check into your hotel.
  • Afternoon:
    • Rest and freshen up.
  • Evening:
    • Visit the local market or take a short walk around Katra town.
  • Overnight:
    • Stay in Katra.

Day 2: Trek to Vaishno Devi Shrine

  • Early Morning:
    • Begin the trek to Vaishno Devi Shrine (13 km from Katra).
    • Option: You can hire a pony, or palanquin, or take a helicopter ride for convenience.
  • Late Morning:
    • Reach Ardhkuwari and visit the holy cave.
  • Afternoon:
    • Continue the trek to Bhawan.
  • Evening:
    • Perform darshan at Vaishno Devi Shrine.
  • Night:
    • Stay at Bhawan or trek back to Katra (if trekking back, you may reach it late at night).

Day 3: Return to Katra

  • Early Morning:
    • If you stayed at Bhawan, trek back to Katra.
  • Morning:
    • Check out of the hotel.
